TF30LPE
is chemically cross-linked closed cell polyolefin foam produced in block form, with properties that can be selected to meet many individual application requiremensts

TF30LPE foam has a fine regular closed cell structure with excellent physical properties, providing good, thermal insulation, weatherability, low water absorption and inertness to most chemicals.

TF30LPE foam is widely used in areas of application such as Child Safety surfacing, Gaskets, Seals, Life Jackets, Body Protection, Expansion Joint Filler, Floating Pond Covers, Safety Padding, Packaging and General Insulations.

TFI closed cell Polyethylene and EVA foams provide a wide range of unique performance characteristics and are available in nominal density range between 30 kg/cu.m and 350 kg/cu.m.
These foams provide cost effective replacements for many materials, including Felt, Neoprene, Natural Rubber, Polyurethane Foam, PVC foam, Wood Composites, Mineral Wool and Fibreglass.

TFI foam are available in a range of standard colours, subject to batch order quantities

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:

When tested in accordance with ASTND543-56T (4 weeks immersion), the material swells slightly when immersed in gasoline or aromatic hydrocarbons, but is not attacked by other solvents, acids or alkalis.

CHEMICALS VOLUMERIC CHANGE
Hydrochloric acid 10% 0.08%
Sulphuric acid 30% 0.4%
Acetone 5.5%
Toluene 14.7%

Product complies with NSW RTA 'specification for preformed joint fillers for concrete structures and road pavements'

HEALTH & SAFETY:

All Raw Materials used in the production of TFI Polyethylene and EVA foams comply with today's health and safety regulations. The product is free from formaldehyde and carcinogenic substances. No CFC substances are used in the production of TFI foams

VISUAL DEFECTS:

Within accepted manufacturing tolerances the following number of surface defects (pinholes) may occur per square meter on one face of a skived sheet.
The maximum acceptable number of defects are
(a) 6 up to a diameter of 2mm,
(b) 2 from 2mm to 5mm in diameter,
(c) 1 from 5mm to 10mm in diameter.
